Interesting Findings

I was checking on the internet about blood clot in the brain. Then suddenly under the similiar condition, there was depression. So I clicked onto it, because I'm a depressed person myself... According to http://www.ecureme.com/emyhealth/data/Depression.asp,

Symptoms of depression are:
  • General depression
  • Sadness
  • Lack of energy
  • Lowered mood
  • Hopelessness
  • Difficulty with concentration
  • Difficulty making decisions
  • Anxiety
  • Sleeping too much
  • Insomnia
  • Loss of interest in sex
  • Change of appetite
  • Loss of interest in work
  • Severe depression
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Anorexia
  • Agitation

I have 11 or 12 symptoms out of the above mentioned 17. What an interesting finding before I head to bed.

If you suspect this condition:
Seek treatment as soon as possible. Depression is a medical illness just like any other, and there is no reason to suffer from it. If you have suicidal thoughts, you need immediate emergency treatment -- it may be life-threatening!

Ok. I'm supposed to online to check my mail because I forgotten the venue for tomorrow's Famine30 training. Sigh. I enjoy the meetings, but General Meeting 3 times a week is CRAZY! Ok, maybe I'm really giving a thought to quit. People start to complain me being too busy d. I also din expect it'll turn out this way. Sorry for all the inconveniences caused. Sigh.... The saddest case would be, on my birthday, I have class from 8am til 6.30pm. And then I will be having my COS weekly Games Group meeting at night. Won't be home in time to celebrate my birthday with family members. Even on the 17th nite also cannot celebrate because I have a goddamn COS General Meeting. Hopefully no meetings during the day. YEC food carnival on 19th Aug somemore. So there's only Monday (day time), Thursday (day time) and Friday(full day) free.

Vin also dulan because I'm too busy to celebrate my birthday with him :( Since he wanna belanja me lunch, but I don't know what to eat. He said no more Sushi Zanmai. And he so damn choosy with food. Sigh... Give me headache on what and where to eat. I'm supposed to go to Dessert's Bar with him tomorrow because they are giving 50% off the menu!! Dammit... And Famine 30 training has to be tomorrow, and written in email.. attendance is COMPULSORY. He damn fed up of me having meetings when he wanna go out with me. I feel awfully bad and sorry to everyone now.

Busy week

Tired. Very very tired.
Haven't been sleeping enough for the past few days.
The Summer Camp organised by the Chinese Cultural Society was nice.
Met some new friends.
I probably see it as another chance to get to know the committees.
They're always having fun.
How envious.

Yesterday my whole day was only about meetings.
Had YEC meeting from 8.30am til 2.00pm.
Then had lunch with Kenny at Sri Hartamas Kim Gary.
By 5.00pm, I'm at HELP's hostel.
Waiting for other group members to arrive.
Had a hard time discussing the proposal and the activity flow.
Our proposal ended up finishing at 10pm something.
Then started to learn the dance moves from Hannah Montana.
Even us having a hard time remembering the dance moves,
I wonder how long will it take for the campers to learn later on.

Most likely we'll be going to Bukit Tinggi to serve~
The logo looks so nice!
Can't wait for the T-shirt printing.

I think I'm starting to fall sick again.
My nose is running again! ="=
I wonder it I got it from Vin's house since his bro had a severe flu case.
His grandaunt say long time din see me. Lol.

Today went to Jack's house since he's also staying near Vin's house.
Omg. His house. Damn rich kid.
His house has so many chairs =,="
Being so rich, he has no internet at home.

People will always be very complicated.
Don't know why.
It's sad to know that the things that you do are not supported by others.
So he chose to ignore the people, and does what he can.
For me, I don't choose sides.
I barely even know these people.
Oh well...

Sleepy sleepy....
Next week is the last week of my sem break.
How sad... :(

Busy Sem Break

Makes me sound like I was very free in my past sem breaks. Ok ok la. Sometimes got work, sometimes stay home, sometimes got holiday. But this sem is unusual. Now I'm having activities in college like every week. Having to attend camps, training sessions, meetings and some club activities. I sound so busy now.

A couple of weeks ago I was asked by Kenny to attend a committee meeting for YEC. Then I thought like since I've got nothing to do, might as well just do him a favor and attend lo. First day of meeting, the damn shuttle bus driver tells the students that his bus cannot have students standing. And he was like whining and saying some stuff la. I couldn't listen clearly because I was on my MP3. So we were trying to get onto the bus. Then suddenly, just when I was about to get up. The driver say, CANNOT COME IN! I went WTF?!

The meeting was at 8am. I was at the bus at 8am. I sms-ed Kenny in advance that I was waiting for the bus. Then I think I heard somebody calling my name but I couldn't see who. Kenny was in the bus. He asked the driver to let me go up. SO nice of him! When I got in, eh, the damn bus still got plenty of seat lo! Can sit like another 10 more people. Then the bus driver said, "Wanna complain? Go complain to the office!"

I was asked to jot down some stuff at the meeting, something like minutes. I wasn't aware that the club doesn't have enough committee members. Suddenly during election of committee, I became secretary. Wah.... =,=" Big responsibility. Kenny say propose that I become secretary after his long observation. What observation? =,= The only thing I did for him was to help him out at the campus tour. He said he saw me joining other activities. I see. I'm getting along with some of the committee with the help of MSN. Walala... the wonders of online communication. One guy actually looked a bit like my cousin who's studying in Monash U at Aus.

Wahh.. Now all the new people that I know are younger than me.. sobsob..... Now I'm getting to know a lot of psychology students. Because of the Chinese Cultural Society (CCS) and their sub-society, Community Outreach Society (COS). The people I know starts from the year borned in 1988, some 1990. So I know some juniors from Foundation, who happened to be March intakes as well. Yeah~ I feel so old :(

Happy sem-break to me. Hope I have time for the long overdue paintball game ;(

Freedom~

AS USUAL, before I start answering my essay questions, I will state out some points on the question paper. Normal right? So as I was brainstorming.. so-called la... I automatically started drawing on the question paper. It was within the 1st half an hour. Probably 15 mins or so.

Suddenly, this お婆さん (obaasan) stood in front of me and told me, "This is an exam, why are you drawing?" with a serious look =,= Can you mind your business and I'll mind mine? As long as I'm not cheating, why would you bother if I'm drawing or answering the questions? After all the exam is 3 hours, not 1 hour.

The commotion that she stirred left me with stares and glares from other exam candidates. Hello aunty, this is the exam hall. Don't disturb the peace la. So I kindly told her, with a smile, that drawing helps to calm me down and it's part of my brainstorming. I'm not sure if she heard because I'm down with the flu now. So most likely my voice is distorted already.

Then Miss Chitra was looking at me also. Then smiled. Scary. Then when the exam was about to end then Mr Lye came in. Then he also looked at me with his usual sly face and his sly grim. Then he asked me whether I was sitting for Accounting Theory paper. He seemed to be looking for a student, maybe.

Finally. The end of the semester. Happy sem-break to me.

Took Bobo to Vin's house yesterday. Thought we could have Wiley and Bowie playing together. But, mana tau... Wiley was so fierce! Before Bobo can even touched him, Wiley's already on self-defence mode d. Then the butt itchy Vin kept disturbing Wiley with Bobo. Letting Wiley making those "psssst... pssst!!" sound. His grandma also complained about him LOL. Then finally we put Bobo in the toilet. And then because Bobo was out of sight for a moment, Wiley was back to his normal cuddly face. He is so cute that he showed us his sad kitten cat eyes. OMG. So freaking cute~.~ Like the Puss in Boots from Shrek. He damn know how to act cute XD

精辩--第二届精英杯全国中学话语辩论比赛 - 1st day

In case you're wondering, what the heck am I writing in my title, it simply means - 2nd (national) Chinese debate competition organized by HELP's very own Chinese Cultural Society (CCS). So-called HELP Cup (it's written like this in Chinese).

Although most of the competing schools are from Chinese Independent schools, there are also some government schools like SMK Taman S.E.A., SMK Seri Sentosa, SMK Seri Saujana, SMK Kepong Baru, SMK Taman Desa. There are a few gov schools I left out because I don't know the BM wordings for it. And there are some very weird school names like 大城堡 (Big Castle). How am I to translate for this? SMK Castle Besar wahahahaha... paiseh, forgotten the BM word for castle. Another government school is 吉隆坡公教中学 (Catholic High School?) and 新民国民型中学。

We have participating Chinese schools like

Today I'm lucky because I managed to witness my high school CHKL (group B.. din get to watch group A in action) competing in the final round of the day. They were against 华仁独中。It was quite fascinating since I've never attended any live debate competitions before. I'm the cameraman for today (and tmr). But the bad side about this two teams is that they did not interact with each other that much (in terms of turning the opposition's points against them) but instead they hang on to each of their point of view on the subject. So the judges said that there wasn't any "fireworks" and it turned cold instead (this sentence damn cold). Damn a lot of history facts and I don't know much of its origins, wahaha, hate history!

The first round that I watched was quite interesting as it was JB Foon Yew (not Kulai) vs KL Kuen Cheng. Equally good and the debators are so cute!! I also watched SMK Taman S.E.A. vs Tsun Jin High School. Tsun Jin won in the end but their points actually weren't as good as Taman S.E.A but because of their inability to actually further elaborate and also give more examples. Some of the gov schools have good points but they failed their part in either stating the main point too late (almost finishing baru they say their main point), talk too slow (they still got time to give intro, bell rang the minute they wanna enter the main point) or they weren't fluent while giving their points (wasted some time trying to say the right word or pronunciation or rephrase a few times). Taman S.E.A.'s debators were quite agressive especially the boys (except for one, he's only form 2).

So most of the contestants are so young!! They are like only in their Form2 or Form 3! I talked to the representative from Tmn SEA, she said coz the seniors wanna give the young ones a try.

Time for bed. Looking forward to tmr's Pre match! Yippie~~ Qualifying round consisted of 32 teams (not 32 schools). Tmr will have 16 teams. Then Sunday would be the semi finals and finals. Damn excited!! yippie~~~ Have to bring 2 cams to college.

Random Thoughts

What a shitty MA3 paper. I got what I wished for, but I forgotten the answers! Shame on me.

Damn I miss those Sum41 songs! The Hell Song is playing in my head now.

After Wednesday, I'm free to go find my cute lil' son Wiley.

Maybe can even take mum go to Connaught night market.

Hmm, have to remind myself to read up those books during sem break.

July come so soon after that.

Maybe might go to Bon Odori with fellow Japanese Language classmates. Maybe only.

Should remind myself to download Tal Bachman songs. Love his version of She's So High and When She Sleeps.

I wanna go bowling and badminton and cycling. Play water as well.

Want to speed but I have to cut down on my petrol expenses. Poor.

I hate guys.
