Clueless about this post. Nothing much about my life. Recently, my curiosity led me to know something which I did not know of. Sometimes I would just browse thru other ppl's blogs thru the links the host puts there. So, I came upon this blog and discovered something which has kept me thinking for some time.

I was wondering, during the olden days, the elderly hoped that their children would get married early and bear them some grandchildren to carry on the family's name. But education is compulsory now, people now focus on their studies, hopefully to further their studies and get them a better paying job. But one thing never really change, although it decreased, I think. Getting pregnant at young age. If this happened 50 years ago, I think the parents were more than happy to have the daughter married off. But now, I think it would bring disgrace to the family at a certain point.

"My daughter is well taught, how can she commit such a terrible mistake? She has a bright future ahead of her, I think this will destroy her path! It must have been the boy who has influenced her! It must be!!"

"I told him/her not to be intimate! And this is what they get for not listening to me! They asked for it! See what happens now! Having you as a child is disgrace to our ancestors and relatives! How am I to tell them? Where am I to hide my face?"

"Why can't you be smarter? You already know you are so big, why can't you think better?"

Probably there are still many parents thinking this way. Education might had made us wiser, but not necessarily rational. I'm obviously stating the obvious, am I not? The point I'm trying to make is, no matter how smart we are, we are only human. We have feelings. We love, we hate, we cry, we laugh. We want to love, and to be loved. We often make remarks like saying "Wah wah, xxx's sister/brother is only 17, already getting ready to get married. So young already get pregnant." The two must have went through a lot of scolding, worries and even feeling despair. And some support.

Is it necessarily people from the olden days are much more mature than of today's people the same age? Probably. But why people now tend to marry later? They loved their careers more? Can't study while being married in the mean time? Maybe they are just destined to be that way. Why can't people be more happy about it the minute they know instead of pointing fingers and play the blaming game before finally deciding to settle down and get married? Why can't people sometimes be like the olden days. People need to relax, let down their hair, have some fun. Bear the consequences for our actions. Some people grow from it, some never learn from experience.

A same thing can happen, but we get different actions from different time.

What will become of us 10, 15 years later? Probably some of us are not married yet, married without kids, married and have dozen of kids. What will we seek in our children? Are we to be like our parents? Make decisions for them education wise (til University level) or let them choose what they wanna be with us, being the parents, supporting them all the way? Are we going to interfere their choices of studies? Today we might say NO, but who knows later we are the ones to budge in like some of our parents did to us? It might help them, it might kill them.

Oh sigh. Life is nothing more than repeating history. The same trouble will always come back to us, to our next generations, it never seemed to end.

For the first time, me and my brothers and mum went to Summit USJ for the very first time. Mum's fren, Aunt Lily, whom I also known since kindergarten. She was a very pretty girl back then, working as a florist not far from my house. Then she was lucky to marry a rich husband who loved her and they moved to Dubai and stayed there for many years before settling here for good. Now she had 3 kids. Staying in Kota Kemuning. Two of my baby rabbits were given to her. I wonder how are they right now. Supposed to meet at Sunway Pyramid but cos Aunt Lily attended a seminar and finished early, she called my mum and mum din answer her call. So Aunt Lily wasn't sure if we were going to meet her. So she missed the turn to go Sunway and ended up in Summit.

Me and my brothers were spending/wasting time in the arcade. Kok Jin spent most of his time and money on Initial D. Me and Kok Leong were just trying out the other games they have there. First we played Rock Fever 3.5. Dammit! Coz Kok Leong put the token in and I dunno wat happened, he landed up with normal mode. I just put token and play as player 2. So we played miserably. Reasons being we have not touched the machine since many years ago. And we usually play the easy mode. Wuwu.... For nothing I wasted one token there. Then after tht just play the driving game, coz I played manual and the car skid so often that I couldn't play, I guess I choose the wrong track to race on. Then played photo hunt. Suck big time. Oh well.

So we ended up spending at least RM30 playing Time Crisis 3 =.= It was so addictive. I think it was nice playing with it because instead of two players squeezing into one screen and play, this actually had a separate screen for each players. So we were quite determine to play til the end of the game. Landed ourselves on the 6th spot among the other players. So sad... Couldn't even reach 1m score.

Currently watching an anime with music element. The school has two departments - music and ordinary. The music students so lanci >"< and are bullies to the ordinary students. Grrr!! Oh, the anime is also showing in Animax. Erm, the title is quite long and it's in French, La corda d'oro primo passo. Maybe I will find the comic to read. Hmm!

Extras

Today I received a sms from PK asking me whether I wanna work as an extra for Celcom ad? I'm not sure about the term 'tvc' in her msg. She din reply my message. Wuwu... Anyways, the shooting will be held next Friday and Saturday, 10am-7pm at Damansara. I dunno which part? Sounds fun. Then I forgotten that on Friday I got LAW201. Sob sob sob.... Job scope is simple, just to fill up onli. and u get RM80. 2 days oredi RM160. Cash paid. Does it mean pay on the spot too? But... if I miss next week's class then maybe I'll miss out wat Chithra will say for the exam areas! But I told PK I wanna go d... Oh snap!

Nite Market @ Mont Kiara Sunrise

I shouldn't be blogging now as it's way past my bedtime. Anyway, 3M is currently offering internships to business/admin studies. Accountancy/Finance students are also eligible. Click here for the page (from Jobstreet). Mid Valley is having this My Career & Education Fair 2008 today 10am (now is 1.41am), I feel like going but I think it's gonna be pack and parking is a problem. Mum received newsletter from Isetan and it stated that The Gardens parking will no longer be connected to Mid Valley's anymore. People like her would surely get lost in the parking lot cos she not onli lou fah but also make "judgement" super fast =__="

Let me tell u a story that just happened about, let's say, about 7~8 hours ago? Mum wanted to go all the way to Mont Kiara to buy 3 boxes of strawberries =_____= she said the strawberry sold in The Curve flee market is more pricey compared to in Mont Kiara. She also said that the strawberry sellers are the same in both places. Great memory she had there! I dun even remember their faces, except knowing that it's an middle-aged couple. Since it's my first time there, I was quite surprised to actually see how super kiasu those working ppl are, or maybe they were super hungry after a day's work. Especially if you're working in considered high class areas like Hartamas and Mont Kiara. The new palace will be building in Sri Hartamas, just across the Plaza Damas, so do be prepared for increasing in real estates there.

Those terrible OLs! They just bump and knock into you and miserably fit themselves into the line of customers. This lady with her pram and her baby inside, also stood behind me and my mum, standing so close as if the crowd is not crowded enough. Lagi her pram blocking ppl. I waited for my mum and I felt like a total idiot standing there *swt*. I dun care u angmoh or local, all are equal humans. I managed to spot some Japanese there *tee hee*. The sate stall there was smoking the whole place up! Poor stalls with clothes hanging there. Probably all their clothes oredi kena contiminated with sate smell all over!

So me and my mum were surrounding this medium sized nite market for about 4~5 rounds. Cos wanted to see wat other stalls offer and coudn't decide whether to buy or not. I tell u, we're probably the only two there holding bundles of plastic bags macam starving people. Sorry la, I wasn't really that hungry. I spotted a man selling foot-long hotdogs which he would cook on the spot! So smart la that guy. And there's a variety of hotdogs to choose from. Which I din really look. Paiseh... later he tot i'm some chao ginna wanna beg for a lil chump of hotdog =_= Or maybe I just dress up as poor people. Cos ppl like to stare at me when I go out, especially to some... places.. with class...... No la, probably I'm too leh feh for their eyes. But I wasn't!

Skip to the parking lot. Before we got down from the car, I oredi told mum tat she parked my car senget, ask her to park straight a bit. She say NVM la, later go out "convenient". Came back into the car wanna reverse out, then she say hard to reverse out, even tell me the Indian guy who paid his ticket before us was having a hard time coming out from his own parking lot. Then I sindir her back, "park like this easier to go out WOR... see now so many ppl waiting behind u to reverse out".

There were around 4 cars waiting =__= maybe I shud have been the one to drive instead. I cringe whenever she uses my car. Petrol sure used up very fast at the way she's driving. The highlight of the day, she drive past the ticketing machine where u're supposed to insert the ticket in before exiting. Drove straight to the automatic gate boom there. Before she stopped, I asked whether she had overshot the ticket machine. She laughed and say dunno =.=" The friendly guard helped her to take the ticket and wanted to put the ticket in. Unfortunately, the machine seems to have some sort of censor. It must sense a car there to enable the ticket to be inserted. So she had to reverse back the car. I saw a car behind us reversing, giving us way. Kinda embarrasing. And also funny at the same time.

But in the car park when mum was trying to reverse, those angmohs couldn't be more patient and instead had to rush their way to proceed to wherever they're heading. So gan jeung do wat? It's not like the cars behind u are rushing u wat, din even hear a single honk in the car park.

Long entry this time. Oops! 2.10am oredi. Argh.. probably gonna be late for class again :( Dunno PK passed her Undang test d or not. Hmm.... Nitez!

Today - ah~ No class on Wednesdays anymore. How relaxing it is. Mondays - free from 8am class, super song! Now I only have Thursdays 8am class. I guess that's ok. Less of the rush rush and more of the sleep sleep.

Supposed to visit the batting cages again, I asked Shanna whether she knew how to play pool or not. She said a bit. Then asked 1U got pool to play meh? Got I told her. So instead of heading straight to the batting cages, we ended up playing pool for about 3 rounds? And it was raining outside. We wanted to go up to the Upper Roof put the darn lift we entered couldn't go up. Then Shanna fat lan za in the lift and a guy was looking at her pressing the lift button to the UR gazillion times. Then he finally opened his mouth, "You wanna go up to the batting cages? U have to take a lift from Parkson." *speechless both of us* Batting cages are closed during rainy days.

Reached Shanna's place at 3pm, she wanna go mamak eat tom yam =_= told me she hadn't eat tom yam for a week... k.... after makan reach 1U oso oredi almost 4pm.. time passes so fast. Bought a box of Big Apple doughnuts for my family, Shanna wanted her usual Oreo doughnut. Then I finally got myself a pair of shoes! Good good... like tht my RM100 gone d~~ wuwu.... There goes my petrol money.... And my reloading money.... :(

Need to save money again. WUWUWUWU T___________________T

Batting Cages @ 1U 30-04-08

After makan, dropped Kai Lie, Hong Sheng and Jing Yan at KPD. Jing Yan joined us later for karaoke @ Neway. KS had to go home. But after the sing k session, I joined Shanna and her frens, Joe and Joe's fren, John. There was this fashion show going on. Me and Shanna spotted a very gay fashion for men. And a scary looking presenter (bcoz of his make up la).

Sorry about the photos, dah blur ni. Shanna tried her best. Joe joked and asked Shanna to go down and snap with the baldy.

Ok, the main point is.... the batting cages!

WELCOME
This is not an easy game I tell u! Us 4 were really trying hard to hit. But of course, since John and Joe played before, me and Shanna were total noobs. We hardly hit any balls but Shanna was able to play better than me. Joe said I had perfect swings, but I couldn't hit a single darn ball =___=

I recorded Joe playing. But the cacat thing is that the minute I turned off the camera, Joe was able to hit the ball. So in the video U'll onli get to see Joe not able to hit any balls.

Some snapshots of us.

Besides baseball, there's also softball at the otherside of the nets.

The futsal field is just at the opposite.

Joe said the batting cages is open to public only on Wednesday coz the rest of the days are opened to members. Rm3 for a token, 15 balls each token. A ball comes out every 8 seconds.

Breakfast @ Tmn Kok Lian

Our ACC201 class finished quite early, I was late for class, reached about 8.20am as I left home at 8am which I regretted doing so because I was trying to finish the maggi mee on the table prepared by mum. Then, Sin Ying asked me to park at Wisma HELP since the lecture class wont be very long. So I decided to park by the roadside, hoping DBKL won't saman me so early morning. So after class, 8 of us, consisting of KS, Sin Ying, Kai Lie, Big Hong Sheng, Soak Peng, Jing Yan, Seow Boon and me. Went to Batu 5 to eat prawn mee but the stall was closed.
